ECommerce Data Analyst (Buyer/ Purchase/ Procurement)

As the eCommerce Data Analyst (Buyer/ Purchase/ Procurement), you will support the growth of our Client's Amazon based eCommerce businesses by assisting in the creation and development of reports and dashboards to deliver a clear understanding of current status and future trends. You should have a strong background in analytics, familiarity with the Amazon ecommerce world, and great communication skills.

We are looking for someone who is skilled in Pandas, Python and SQL queries, someone who can create reports and dashboards using BI tools (PowerBI or Sisense), and who demonstrates an understanding of different organizational departments and functions. Advanced knowledge of Windows PowerPoint, Excel, and Word programs is a must. Explaining and presenting complex data in a clear and concise manner is the goal!

Responsibilities: Data Management, Analysis, Reporting, and Communication

• Access key ecommerce data streams (Walmart, Amazon, Third Parties) to extract relevant data to drive insights using Pandas, Python and SQL queries.
• Develop and maintain cross-retail dashboards, reports and P&L analysis on competitive brands.
• Create easy to understand reports and dashboards to answer ad-hoc inquiries using Sisense.
• Buyer data experience (Purchase, Procurement)
• Interpret and articulate data in short form.
• Identify and communicate trends that create and opportunity or pose a threat to the business.

Additional responsibilities:

• Analyze and provide insights for the inventory/logistics planners.
• Work alongside the auditing team to develop and execute plans and strategies to drive insights.

Qualifications:

• 3 years' experience in analytics and eCommerce.
• Python, Pandas, Sisense, and SQL skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field analytical required
• Experience working with amazon ecommerce would be highly regarded.
• Prior experience with finance/audit/ Supply Chain/Inventory/Logistics data Analysis
