Bixby Animal Hospital & Urgent Care is a state-of-the-art GP and urgent care practice. This is the 4th location of a private practice that has been a part of the South Bay community since 2005.
We're a busy hospital that receives many surgery referrals from other local GP practices. RVTs with surgery tech experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
We practice the highest quality medicine using the latest technologies. You'll have many opportunities to use your expertise as you provide exceptional patient care. At our small animal general practice, we perform all types of surgeries, and we bring in board-certified internists, cardiologists and orthopedic surgeons for specialty cases. You'll have many opportunities to grow your skill set.
Great customer service skills are a MUST.
Duties include, but are not limited to: venipuncture, IV catheter placement, monitoring anesthesia, performing cystocentesis, taking digital x-rays, administering vaccines, preparing estimates for clients, assisting doctors, restraining pets, etc.
Our practice uses EzyVet and Smart Flow software. Previous experience is helpful, but not necessary.
We are currently hiring full-time positions on a flexible 4/10 workweek. We're open 7 days a week, and must be available to work either Saturday or Sunday.
