Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Jewelry Repairs Coordinator to work onsite with our Willowbrook repair operations team and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This role combines a passion for fine jewelry and excellent client service.This highly interactive position will accept and price jewelry and watch repairs while working closely with our sales team to ensure we deliver the highest level of client service excellence.Key Responsibilities:Receive and assess jewelry pieces requiring repair or maintenanceCreate detailed repair tickets and maintain accurate documentationCommunicate with customers regarding repair status, timelines, and costsCoordinate with Repairs Manager to prioritize repairsChange watch batteries and size watch bandsTrack repair progress and ensure timely completionPerform quality control inspections on completed repairsAssist with managing inventory of repair materials and suppliesWork closely with the Repairs Manager and Sales team on all repairsRequired Qualifications:MUST have 2+ years of experience in jewelry retail repair operationsStrong understanding of jewelry materials, gemstones, and repair processesThe ability to manage workflow and meet repair deadlines in a fast-paced work environmentProficiency in point-of-sale systemsGeneral knowledge of watch repair and the ability to change watch batteries and linksParticipate in store open/close proceduresMust be able to work on Saturdays and special events as requiredPreferred Qualifications:GIA certification or related jewelry educationKnowledge of precious metals, gemstones and watch brandsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package including:2.0% commission on all repairs completedMedical, dental and vision insurance.401k with company matchLife InsuranceShort-term disability insurancePaid time offHoliday payParental leaveOngoing training and developmentGenerous employee discountOur most valuable resource isn't the high-quality diamonds or precious stones we carry- it's our people! xhyhwjd From our knowledgeable and friendly Fine Jewelry Sales Consultants who greet each person as they walk in the door to our Jewelry Repairs Team and Jewelers that artfully craft one-of-a-kind pieces, our staff is as caring for our clients as they are their own family.
