Fabricator: Rockford, Illinois Our customer in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. Were recruiting Fabricators to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, welding, and assembling metal components while maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities of the Fabricator: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Measure, cut, grind, and assemble steel materials to specifications. Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drill presses, ironworkers, and press brakes. Perform MIG welding, tack welding, and fitting as needed. Use precision measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges. Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality. Load, unload, and move steel materials throughout the facility. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Assist team members and other departments as needed. Fabricator Requirements and Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous fabrication or welding experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Pay for Fabricator: $20.00$28.00/hour. Fabricator Benefits: Health insurance. Paid time off. 401k with company match. Paid weekly. Direct deposit. Paid training. Type: 1st Shift, Full-time. Schedule: Monday Friday from 6:00am 2:30pm. Overtime may include 10-hour shifts (6:00am 4:30pm) and occasional Saturdays.
